When asked by Trevor Phillips if the economy has declined since Labour came to office, the chancellor replied: "The economy is not growing fast enough. I'm not satisfied with the numbers that we see at the moment."
Rachel Reeves goes on to say that it is "not possible within just a few months to reverse more than a decade of economic stagnation".
