as posted by the channelBritish tennis star Harriet Dart has apologised after requesting her French opponent "wear deodorant" because she "smells really bad".
The British number four was competing against the French wild card Lois Boisson in the Open de Rouen when the exchange with the umpire was caught on camera.
Writing on Instagram, Dart said: "It was a heat-of-the-moment comment I truly regret. That's not how I want to carry myself and I take full responsibility.
"I have a lot of respect for Lois and how she competed today. I'll learn from this and move forward."
Dart eventually lost 6-0 6-3.
