The Liberal Democrat leader says "really shocking" research by his party has found only 0.4% of police are dedicated to rural crime teams in England and Wales.
Speaking to Sky's Anna Jones, Davey says: "Rural crime is really serious, affecting many communities. And there's not the police there - or the technology there - to deal with it."
