A whistleblower who served in the Royal Military Police for over a decade has told Sky News that the force is unfit to investigate sexual offences as it protects male soldiers and the image of the army over victims.
She says she was one of more than a dozen who reported a high ranking soldier of sexual abuse who was later allowed to resign without facing charges.
The Chair of the Defence Committee has added to her calls to remove investigatory powers from the RMP into sexual offences, urging the government to act as soon as possible.
