4:40Now PlayingEnvironmental campaigner Feargal Sharkey says a new report into the water industry does nothing to address the issue of firms dumping sewage in our rivers.
The singer and vocal water quality campaigner claimed: "There's not a single river anywhere in England that's not polluted."
He added: "These companies have made off with £84bn of our money, leaving the companies £74bn in debt, our rivers are devastated and London and the south east is running out of water."
His comments come as the Independent Water Commission releases a report claiming failures in the industry can only be fixed by fundamental reform in five key areas, including government planning and greater transparency from water firms.
