2:52Now PlayingThe UK's steel industry has been temporarily spared from Donald Trump's 50% tariffs that came into effect on Wednesday.
The US president doubled import taxes for American firms buying steel and aluminium from other countries, including EU member states.
For now the UK is exempt, but could still face the increased levy if the trade deal signed with the US last month is not ratified.
