17:14Now PlayingA top Israeli minister has denied its forces are deliberately targeting civilians after a beach café popular with students was hit by an airstrike, reportedly killing 30 people.
Deputy foreign minister Sharren Haskel insisted "there is not a chance in the world that Israel is purposefully targeting civilians" but she accepted that "in a war, there is unfortunately mistakes."
In a heated interview, she described Hamas as a "death cult" which is using the Gaza people as "a tool of war".
She dismissed an accusation that 17,000 children had been killed in the conflict as "Hamas propaganda" but went on to say: "There isn't a war that is 'clean'. There isn't a war where children are not killed."
On the subject of the UK police investigation into anti-IDF chanting at Glastonbury, Ms Haskel condemned the remarks as anti-Semitic and went on to deny accusations that Israel has a "settler terrorist problem."
