7:31Now PlayingThe independent MP Ayoub Khan has called criticism of Birmingham City Council's decision to ban Maccabi Tel Aviv fans from a match against Aston Villa a "disgrace".
He called on the prime minister and MPs to back the decision by the Safety Advisory Group (SAG), which said there was a high risk of public disorder if the Israeli fans were allowed to attend the Europa League match next month.
Mr Khan, who is MP for Birmingham Perry Barr, said he was against Israeli participation in football on "moral grounds" due to the war in Gaza and claims from the UN Israel had committed genocide.
