As part of their opposition day debate (where an opposition party can table a non-binding motion of debate by MPs), Kemi Badenoch's team will call for the release of the minutes of a meeting chaired by the National Security Adviser on 1 September.
They believe it will show that the government either deliberately collapsed the trial to avoid angering China for economic purposes, or did not do enough to prevent its collapse.
