A coroner has ruled on the death of Luke Abrahams, 20, who died of sepsis after feeling unwell with a sore throat in January 2023. His parents believe there were errors in his care and that a misdiagnosis contributed to their son's death.

Jake Abrahams, Luke's brother, says it has been "harrowing" to sit through the inquest.

"When mistakes are made in the NHS, the consequences can be fatal, lives are lost, families are destroyed," he said.
