Speaking to Sky News, shadow home secretary Chris Philp says Sir Keir Starmer didn't bring anything back from China "that is going to move the needle economically".

"The labour government have shown weakness again," he adds. "They're being weak with China around the embassy, around the foreign influence registration scheme in the desperate hope they get a few economic crumbs that they have themselves have created here in the UK."
