7:02Now PlayingSir Keir Starmer has admitted that the war in the Middle East will "likely impact" people in the UK - but says the government is working to counter this.
The Prime Minister told people gathered at a community centre in London that ministers are "assessing the risks, monitoring and talking to our international partners" to reduce the impact of the conflict.
He also gave an update on those stranded in the Middle East and said the government is working with commercial airlines to repatriate around 300,000 British people, adding "we've got 35,000 back so far."
