Angela Rayner has warned that Sir Keir Starmer is "running out of time" to deliver change in a major intervention at the top of Labour.
Rayner is resurfacing in frontline politics following her resignation as deputy prime minister last year over how much tax she paid on a property purchase.
In a speech, she attacked the government's immigration policy as a "breach of trust" by changing the time requirements for indefinite leave to remain.
In PMQs, Starmer apologised for his "mistake" over Mandelson's appointment - saying the process to appoint Mandelson was not strong enough.
Meanwhile, Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar tells Sky News he has not had a conversation with the prime minister since early February, when he called for Starmer to quit.
