The new guidelines state that for children under two screens should be avoided altogether, unless they are being used to encourage bonding and conversation, and under-fives should only be allowed an hour of screen time a day.
Sky's education reporter Anjum Peerbacos spoke to parents about how much their children use electronic devices, and what they make of the new recommendations.
