Israel's war on Hezbollah is going "well beyond what it is described to be by the Israeli side" in Lebanon, a doctor has told Sky News.

Dr Éveline Hitti, chair of the emergency department at the American University of Beirut, said children were disproportionately being killed and injured in Israeli attacks.

More than 300 people were killed in a wave of strikes across Lebanon and Beirut on Thursday.

Israel said it was attacking sites linked to the Iranian-backed group Hezbollah.
