An Albanian organised crime gang has been sentenced to a combined 40 years in prison for a series of high value burglaries across the UK.

Endrit Nikolli, 27, Kristian Gropcaj, 30, George Pepa, 31, Krisjian Dedndreaj, 28, and Sidorjan Lleshi, 26, all pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit burglary and conspiracy to possess criminal property during hearings at Chester Crown Court on 28 November and 7 January.

The force estimated the total value of items stolen was in excess of £1m, and that while some items have been recovered, the majority are believed to have been sold on.
