as posted by the channelThree years since the start of the Sudan war, Yvette Cooper has told Sky News that Sudan "is the greatest humanitarian crisis of the 21st century and we desperately need a ceasefire".
The foreign secretary also announced a £146m aid budget for Sudan and plans to look at refugee visas for students after the student visa ban.
Since April 2023, Sudan has been in the middle of a brutal war between the Sudanese Armed Forces and a powerful paramilitary group, Rapid Support Forces (RSF). It has led to thousands of deaths and millions being displaced and facing famine.
