Mr Roberts made the statement during an Epstein files field hearing hosted by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee in Palm Beach, Florida. Mr Mountbatten-Windsor settled a civil sexual assault claim filed by Ms Giuffre, who died in 2025. He maintains his innocence regarding Ms Giuffre's allegations. Ms Maxwell is serving a prison sentence in the US for recruiting underage girls to be sexually abused by Jeffrey Epstein.
