After the May temperature record was "smashed" over the Bank Holiday weekend, Sky meteorologist Steff Gaulter said the heat will continue to build - and stay across the South and the Midlands for most of the week.
The extreme heat has once again prompted warnings that the UK is not ready for climate change.
