as posted by the channel

Kemi Badenoch is set to make a speech today in which she will pledge to scrap the Public Sector Equality Duty if she ever becomes prime minister.

This is the law requiring public sector employees like police officers, nurses, and teachers to consider equality issues when they are working.

Her pronouncement comes after the sentencing of Henry Nowak's killer led to civil unrest. Nowak was the victim of a stabbing, but was arrested by police over an accusation of racism, and died in custody.

The PSED requires all public sector workers to think how their work could impact different protected characteristics, including age, sex, sexuality, religion and race.
