56:06Now PlayingAndy Burnham has secured 322 nominations from Labour MPs to be the next party leader on the first day of the leadership contest process.
He is just one nomination short of securing enough so that no other candidate could secure the 81 backers necessary to proceed to the next stage of the contest.
As Labour MPs line up to nominate - and praise - him, Cathy Newman and our panel discuss Burnham's impending coronation.
Cathy also speaks to comedian and Three Lions co-writer David Baddiel about whether his England fan anthem has been replaced and the appeal of Andy Burnham.
Victims' Commissioner for England and Wales Claire Waxman tells Cathy that she "doesn't have confidence" that the government will introduce the victims' safeguards she has asked for in its prison early release scheme.
