2:10:23Now PlayingWatch from southeastern Spain as authorities say a wildfire has killed at least 11 people in Almeria as soaring temperatures gripped much of the country.
Local media reported that several victims of the fire were found inside burnt-out vehicles. Some 150 firefighters were battling the blaze and 220 soldiers from a military emergency unit had been deployed.
Authorities have not confirmed the cause of the fire. Regional authorities say the fire is the deadliest the region has seen to date.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez expressed his condolences to loved ones of those who died.
