2:43Now PlayingDrought has been declared in North Wales and the Upper Severn following record dry conditions.
Natural Resources Wales said the heat since May, along with wildfires and dwindling river levels, had led to the decision to declare a drought.
The areas affected include North Gwynedd, Ynys Môn, South Gwynedd, Dee (Wales), Clwyd and Upper Severn.
The announcement comes with more hot weather expected in some parts of the country next week.
