I've heard too many people expect superhuman things from Scholars. Why? They are also human, living on the same planet, also prone to the same errors/misjudgements and lapses as us. They are the torch bearers of the Ummah and inheritors of the Prophet (s.a.w), let us be reasonable.
Take the good and leave the bad.
Without scholars, we are but wanderers in a jungle in the darkness of the night.
