Here's How To Help

“Republicans will do anything to win. When I was a Republican—hell yeah, that was me.”

So Texas Democrats did something dramatic: more than 50 lawmakers fled the state to deny the GOP the quorum needed to pass a Trump‑backed redistricting bill designed to add five new Republican‑leaning congressional seats.

It’s a bold act of defiance in the face of threats: Governor Abbott warned lawmakers to return or face removal from office, potential arrest, and daily fines, an escalation straight from Trump's fascist playbook.

But these lawmakers said: “Come and take it.” They called Abbott’s maneuver a corrupt power grab that sacrifices flood recovery and voting rights on the altar of partisan advantage.

This isn’t political theater—it’s a stand.

Share if democracy matters more than dominance. What’s the next move? Court challenge? National response?
