YouTube Description
as posted by the channelTucker Carlson and John Mearsheimer discuss Israel’s assassination strategy, America’s killing of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani, and whether targeted killings have become a normal part of U.S. and Israeli policy in the Middle East.
In this reaction, I respond to Mearsheimer’s argument that Israel is “obsessed” with assassination and that targeted killings create moral and political blowback. My view is different: when enemy leaders are actively planning attacks, building terror networks, commanding proxy armies, or trying to destroy Israel, the moral question is not always simple.
Israel has repeatedly eliminated senior enemy leaders, commanders, generals, and terror chiefs across the region. Critics call it murder. Supporters call it self-defense. The real debate is whether assassination is always wrong — or whether there are cases where removing dangerous leaders prevents even more death.
We also discuss Soleimani, Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, Syria, Israel’s enemies, and why the Middle East often forces impossible moral choices.
