Philippians 2:12, "work out your own salvation," has perplexed many Christians. In this video I explain the meaning of the Greek word katergazomai (work out) and the sense of the passage. We do not work for salvation. As a farmer works his field, so we exploit the opportunity that has been freely given to us in Christ to increase our spiritual profit.
