YouTube Description
as posted by the channelRevelation 3:10 is one of the most hotly disputed verses in the debate on the timing of the rapture. Folks opposed to the pretribulation rapture often try to explain away the plain force of "keep from the hour of trial" with the claim that the Greek word πειρασμος (peirasmos) is never used of judgment or wrath but is only used of testing or trial, therefore it can't refer to deliverance from judgment but can only refer to deliverance from the persecution of the antichrist. This demonstrate that this argument is dead-on-arrival by producing references from the New Testament and the Septuagint which demonstrate that πειρασμος (peirasmos) has a very broad semantic range from testing all the way to the judgments which fell on Egypt at the time of the Exodus and the fire that fell on Sodom.
