The pretribulation rapture camp begs to differ with this analysis, and they point to several dozen passages in the early church which uphold a pretribulation rapture. In this battle regarding the rapture testimony of the early church, Irenaeus has become ground zero. In this video I demonstrate conclusively that Irenaeus taught a pretribulation rapture and that he claims he learned his rapture teaching from the aged brothers who learned it directly from the apostles.
