After being hit by ICE, her husband, a Hispanic U.S. citizen, was intensely questioned and asked by ICE agents to provide his citizenship paperwork. Afterwards, Nadine filed a police report and learned that the license plate on one of the cars ICE was driving could not be located in any police systems.
