Just outside of Glasgow in the south of Scotland, the Cochno stone lies hidden under piles of slightly damp earth. It is perhaps Britain's largest panel of prehistoric art. On art a whole series of cup and ring marks. These prehistoric carvings can be found as far south as Portugal to the rain swept hills of Ireland and up into Scotland.
Who made these cup and ring marks and why??
