However, if only the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill passes, Pelosi says she won't hold a vote for the bill and will shelve it until the $3.5 trillion spending bill is passed. Moderate democrats are begging Pelosi to make the $1.2 trillion bill a stand alone bill. Don't like the $3.5 trillion stimulus they say. Is Pelosi trying to get closer to the elections? Is Pelosi worried she can't pass a $3.5 trillion bill on its own even though democrats control the senate, house and white house?
