Says he is willing to start at $1.5 trillion and negotiate. President Biden has invited him to the white house to discuss hang ups and his ideas. Sanders says this will be going to be close to $3.5 trillion but he's happy to see Joe Manchin coming around. Pelosi says this is a done deal and she will get it done. Republicans plan to leverage the debt ceiling situation coming up to remove wasteful spending and pet projects from the next stimulus package. Janet Yellen says the US is in serious trouble of defaulting on loans and credit if the debt ceiling isn't raised by October. New polls shows 46% of democrats wish Bernie Sanders was president, not Joe Biden. Many are saying the honeymoon phase with Joe Biden is over and he now has to sink or swim on his own.
