In addition, reportedly false rumors have been circulating regarding a possible pact being made between Russia and the US. But before the story could pick up steam, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff strongly denied the Politico report claiming the Trump administration was considering lifting sanctions on Russia—including those on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline—as part of Ukraine peace talks. Senator John Fetterman (D-Pa.) is calling on President Trump to launch military strikes to take out Iran’s nuclear sites, saying diplomacy has failed with a regime that’s caused chaos in the region for decades.

In an interview with the Washington Free Beacon, Fetterman said now is the time to act, pointing to Iran’s weakened military.
