The thing most voters are happy about right now was Trump’s decisive and quick move on taking back operational control of the border. Will he be able to keep it with funds being an issue, democrats being an issue and democrat judges being an issue?
Trump’s “One Big, Beautiful Bill” bolsters border security with $46.5 billion for border wall construction (701 miles primary, 900 miles river barriers), $4.1 billion to hire 3,000 Border Patrol agents and 5,000 customs officers, $2.1 billion for agent bonuses, and $10 billion for 10,000 ICE officers to support deportations. It also funds 100,000 detention beds and a $1,000 asylum fee to deter illegal immigration. These measures aim to enhance enforcement, reduce illegal crossings (down 93% since April 2024), and combat cartel activity, making America safer.
The washington post says fentynal has mysteriously plummeted. Isn’t this insulting to the border patrol and military risking their lives on the border to keep us safe.
