Democrats and their media allies are in visible panic tonight after a gloomy Wall Street Journal hit piece claimed President Trump’s first year left Americans poorer, less safe, and worried about the future.
MSNBC host Rachel Maddow piled on with her own televised rant attacking the president and reinforcing the same negative narrative.
The problem for Democrats is that the Wall Street Journal’s own polling completely contradicts the media narrative being pushed.
According to a devastating new WSJ poll, voters now trust Republicans over Democrats on nearly every major issue, and the margins are not close.
On the economy and inflation, Republicans lead Democrats by six points, on tariffs by two points, on immigration by eleven points, and on border security by a staggering twenty-eight points.
Democrats hold only narrow advantages on healthcare and vaccines, signaling that cultural frustration and economic anger are breaking decisively toward the GOP.
For Democrats, this data represents full panic-mode territory, while for President Trump it confirms that his hard line on the border, trade, and inflation is resonating with voters heading into 2026.
Additional CNN polling shows Trump remains extremely influential and popular, even increasing his support among Republicans by eight points.
When Trump’s endorsements are combined with Elon Musk increasingly backing political winners, momentum is clearly shifting in Trump’s favor.
Tomorrow, President Trump will address the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, where he is expected to energize supporters and unsettle critics as he lays out his emerging “Donro Doctrine.”
European leaders are already uneasy over Trump’s tariff strategy, negotiations involving Greenland, and recent market volatility, with Commerce Secretary Frank Lutnick defending the approach.
Meanwhile, California Governor Gavin Newsom gave an interview attacking Trump and foreign leaders, appearing disorganized and unfocused while positioning himself for a future presidential run.
In a troubling update, 70-year-old Gold Star mother Tina Peters was reportedly attacked in prison and now faces additional felony charges after defending herself, prompting renewed calls for Trump to intervene.
