- President Trump just pulled off what most of the world said was impossible, and even some of his loudest critics in the media are now being forced to give him credit.

- In the Middle East, Trump has brokered a 10‑day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon after decades of open hostility and no direct leader‑to‑leader talks since the early 1980s.

- The leaders of Israel and Lebanon met in Washington, D.C., and agreed to start a formal 10‑day ceasefire at 5 p.m. Eastern as a first step toward a longer‑term peace agreement.

- Trump says he had excellent conversations with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and that both sides are serious about trying to end this conflict.

- Secretary of State Marco Rubio hosted rare face‑to‑face talks between the delegations, while Vice President J.D. Vance and Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Dan “Razin’” Caine have been tasked with turning this short truce into a lasting peace.

- Trump is now openly framing this as part of his bigger record, saying he has already “solved” nine wars around the world and calling this Israel–Lebanon agreement his tenth, proudly embracing the title “President of Peace.”

- At the same time, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced that the U.S. has identified many of the individuals and companies behind bombings against our Abraham Accord allies in the region.

- Bessent says the Treasury will go directly into those bad actors’ bank accounts, freezing their assets and, where possible, using their money to help rebuild the damage they financed instead of letting American taxpayers foot the bill.

- Even CNN’s Scott Jennings is now praising Trump’s strategy, saying the naval blockade and economic pressure are actually bringing the war to an end faster with fewer bombs and missiles.

- Jennings also pointed out that gas futures are coming down under Trump’s approach, which should eventually translate into lower gas prices for American families at the pump.

- Longtime Democrat and TV personality Geraldo Rivera also surprised viewers by giving Trump high marks for his handling of Iran and the broader regional situation.

- All of this means Trump is not only driving the negotiations and the economic pressure, he is also reshaping the narrative as critics on the left quietly start admitting that his strategy is working.
