In practical terms, this decision forces the administration to let millions of people claiming asylum into the United States to present their cases, whether those claims are legitimate or completely fraudulent. This looks like a judicial coup from the bench: an activist Obama judge using the courts to impose Democrat open-borders policy on a president who ran and won on securing the border and stopping illegal immigration. American taxpayers are now on the hook to house, feed, transport, and process potentially millions of new arrivals, while crime, chaos, and overwhelmed border communities get ignored by the political and media establishment.

At the same time, California Governor Gavin Newsom has been exposed for using about $1.5 million from his political operation to buy roughly two-thirds of the copies of his own “bestselling” book, artificially inflating sales and faking his success. Another report shows his administration helping to funnel huge amounts of taxpayer money—over a billion dollars—into programs that effectively attract and support illegal immigrants from other states, propping up a California fraud and dependency network. Now a new poll reveals that nearly 60 percent of Californians don’t want Newsom running for president in 2028, a massive blow to his national ambitions.
