0:49Now PlayingWe're here to work for the American people in this new Congress. And we started last night. You saw a very strong vote on the Hire More Heroes Act. My colleague, Congressman Davis, brought a bill forward that's going to help our veterans have more opportunities in the workforce.
Then we're going to move forward this week with the 40-hour work week bill. We've seen a shift in our nation's economy from full-time jobs to part-time jobs in large part because of those effects of Obamacare that have made it hard for people to get full-time employment. So we're going to bring a bill to change that.
And then, of course, later this week on the Keystone pipeline, a bill -- a bill that President Obama's own administration has said will create over 40,000 American jobs. I would encourage the president to look at signing that bill to create those good jobs, to get our economy moving forward.
