This JCS Inspired video contains the interview of a woman who concocted an elaborate fake kidnapping to spend time with a man she was having an affair with.
On November 2, 2016, Keith Papini became concerned when his wife failed to come home from a jog. Using the ‘find my phone' function, he was able to trace the location of his wife’s phone and earbuds which were found a mile from their home. On Thanksgiving Day, three weeks later, Papini was freed by her captors and was found on the side of the road, still wearing restraints. Her hair had been cut off, and her right shoulder had been branded. She had strived to the point of only weighing 87 pounds, and her nose had been broken. Tearfully, she recounted how she had been kidnapped by two armed Hispanic women. The case garnered national coverage, with nearly every network following the case. The only problem?
The entire thing was a hoax.
This is the interrogation of Sherri Papini
