Matt holds a degree in Meteorology from the University of Arizona and is an expert in severe weather, including hurricanes, which he covered in West Palm Beach, and extreme cold as the weatherman in Duluth, Minnesota. Speaking of Duluth, Matt is a giant devotee of Bob Dylan, who was born in the frozen tundra in northern Minnesota. Matt has two completely useless, but entertaining traits: 1) he can tell you the precise depth of each of the five Great Lakes, and 2) he can tell you which interstate runs thru each major (and many minor) American cities.
