Veronica Butler and Jilian Kelley were two mothers from Hugoton, Kansas who went missing on March 30, 2024. Police found their abandoned car in rural Oklahoma near the Kansas border.
The bodies of Butler and Kelley in a pasture property about 8.5 miles from the abandoned car. The state of the bodies indicated they died from foul play.
Four people were arrested and allegedly belonged to an anti-government group called “God's Misfits”. A fifth was eventually arrested.
