The jury has officially been seated in the high-profile trial of Donna Adelson, who is accused of orchestrating the murder of her ex-son-in-law, Florida State University law professor Dan Markel. Adelson faces first-degree murder, conspiracy, and solicitation charges tied to Markel’s 2014 shooting death in Tallahassee. This trial marks a pivotal moment in the long-running case that has already seen her son, Charlie Adelson, convicted for the same crime. With the jury now in place, the stage is set for powerful testimony and explosive courtroom drama in the pursuit of justice for Dan Markel. Opening statements begin Friday morning.
