YouTube Description
as posted by the channelOn 7 April 2018, while the Syrian Army liberated 90% of Eastern Ghouta from the Islamist militants, the White Helmets and other activists posted a video claiming that the Syrian Army used chemical weapons against the civilians of Douma. Back then, the political accusation against the Syrian government led to trilateral aggression by the US, UK and France against Syria.
Questioning the validity of this claim was always met with accusations of spreading conspiracy theories.
But a few days ago, the British-based Working Group on Syria, Propaganda and Media revealed an internal engineering assessment by the OPCW that undermines the claims that the Syrian Army used chemical weapons in Douma.
To discuss this important revelation, I’m interviewing today Dr David Miller, Professor of Political Sociology at the University of Bristol and member of Working Group on Syria, Propaganda and Media.
