YouTube Description
as posted by the channelFederal law currently allows people to file lawsuits against state and local officials if their constitutional rights are violated. However, similar legal options do not clearly exist when it comes to federal officials.
Now, as Vermont lawmakers watch federal immigration agents confront protesters in places such as Minnesota and more recently in Vermont they are pushing legislation that would give residents the ability to bring civil lawsuits against federal officials. The proposal would allow claims in situations such as alleged excessive force or violations of the right to peacefully assemble.
The Vermont House of Representatives approved the measure less than 24 hours after the ICE operation in South Burlington on Wednesday. The legislation must still pass the state Senate before it could move forward.#trump #elsalvador #donaldtrump #breakingnews #senator #elon #elonmusk #joerogan #jre #joeroganexperience #travel #cnn #meltdown #msnbc #fail #fails #fly #fbi #kashpatel #judge #elsalvador #abregogarcia #wisconsin #nationalguard #portlandprotests
