My name is Anran. I want to introduce the incident of Weizhou grand mosque. The mosque is in northwest China. There are a lot of muslims, including Hui muslim and Uyghur muslim.
There are more than twenty millions muslims in China. Weizhou grand mosque has six hundred years history. It was ever a Chinese style of building. But it was demolished by Chinese communists during the cultural revolution(1966-1976).
Now new weizhou grand mosque is rebuilt three year ago. It’s a Islamic style of building. Chinese communists don’t like this style. They often criticize Hui muslim is Arabization and Islamisation.
Chinese communists order muslim must be sinisized. So weizhou grand mosque becomes a crime. The authorities want to demolish it. Hui muslims are protecting it. Riot police already besieged muslims in mosque. Hui muslim really is a minority to be closest to China’s Han majority. We defend this country in every anti-aggression war. Japanese invaders ever promise to help Hui muslim for establishing own state. When Hui muslim generals rejected them.
When Chinese opposes us, we are very very sad!
