Season 3 Episode 6

Harry talks with Jason Kander about his remarkable just-published memoir, Invisible Storm. Kander was one of the most promising young politicians in the country, and on most people’s short list to run for President in 2020, when he realized he was suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from his service in Afghanistan. He announced his affliction and withdrew from active political life to focus on getting better. Today he is substantially well, and serving as the President of a non-profit organization serving homeless and at-risk veterans. Underneath that trajectory lies quite a story, and Invisible Storm presents it in a clear-eyed, unflinching, yet unpretentious manner.
