YouTube Description
as posted by the channelAt today’s U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, & Transportation (CST) Hearing, U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) called out Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) for holding a hearing that fails to address the root causes of gun violence and refusing to allow a vote on common-sense bills that would reduce gun violence. Duckworth also highlighted the weak connection between mass shootings and social media/video game usage by demonstrating the U.S. is not out of the ordinary when it comes to both time spent on social media and the use of video games--though our nation suffers from a much higher number of mass shootings.
