For example, with the help of Republican insider and professional moron-manipulator, Frank Luntz, Republicans successfully have "average Joe" Republican dupes cheering the elimination of the Estate tax - a tax only the top 1% of the 1% will ever pay. The Estate Tax is designed to protect democracy and prevent the development of democracy-destroying American aristocracy.
The Republican Party lies and says repealing the Estate Tax is all about "family farms."
Of course, in reality it's all about concentrating wealth even more dangerously than it is now, and ultimately entrenching an aristocracy to swallow democratic government and restore the very system of entrenched wealth that the founders fought a revolution to escape.
