And before you ask… yes, I waited the entire day for mama to come get them, enticing her with peanuts and the recorded sounds of baby squirrels calling for their mamas. I called the WBF and they told me to bring them in before dusk because they would be easy prey for creatures who come out at night looking for an easy meal.

The Wild Bird Fund is a place that reminds me that compassion exists and not all humans suck.
